There are a plethora of styles to choose from when looking for a dining bench. There are casual country, primitive log framing, ultramodern teak slatting and vinyls in an array of colors. Built not only for comfort, but also for entertaining with style and constructed for families that are large, there are dining benches to suit anyone's needs and taste.

For those tables that are square or rectangular, a straight dining bench would fit nicely and for tables that are round or oval, curved benches can accommodate. There are many styles of both including traditional to modern, upholstered or not. For more formal dining areas, you may prefer exquisite splat back chairs that do not take away from its stately appearance. A streamlined bench with no back offers a modern look and saves space.

If you are looking for an inviting rural charm, then choose a country style dining bench. While perfect for a breakfast nook, these are so lovely that you will want to show them off in your larger dining areas. Creating a classic farmhouse appeal is simple with classic woods that can be left in their natural state or painted to match your decor. For the unexpected guests, there is always leg bases and trestle to offer substantial seating.

A popular choice, retros, are used commercially. These are covered with a superior grade vinyl. The classic styles will allure your customers by offering them superb cushioning. Add some tables and chairs accentuated with chrome frames and they will embellish your joint.

Kitchen bench nooks in a set are ideal for the popular corner area of the kitchen. They will adapt to breakfast in the mornings or to settle in for your coffee. Later in the day, they make that perfect homework spot for the kids.

Modulars and faux leather benches are more contemporary styles. Shinto benches offer a unique flair in seating with their curved bases and gorgeous artistry on the seats. Options for the back of the chairs range from slats to upholstered insets.

If space is a concern, there are bench furniture styles that can be used in other rooms, like in the living room or in the hallway. Selecting higher backed chairs, ones with arms or those that don't have a back can add an unassuming look. Placing the chairs under windows to create an exclusive reading area or adding to another room to provide additional seating.

Selecting dining benches as a substitute for the customary choice doesn't mean sacrificing stylishness. These complement chairs and tables nicely when combined. There are several styles that harmonize with other furniture, like china hutches and buffets.

Dining on benches may bring a laid back image to your mind, but they can provide trendy accents. A classy dining bench can meet all of your needs for meals and entertaining.
